Dr. Christine Campling – Clinical Lead – Elective Care

Christine has been a GP at Broughton House surgery for over 12 years and before this practiced in Birkenhead Wirral for 13 years. Christine has been involved with commissioning services for patients in Buckinghamshire for over 7 years with Aylesbury Vale PCT and then Buckinghamshire PCT.

Dr Kevin Suddes  – Clinical Lead – Unscheduled Care

Kevin has been a partner at Mandeville practice since 1992 and is committed to providing the highest quality of care for patients. As AVCCG executive clinical lead for unscheduled  care he is committed to ensuring that all patients within our CCG have access to the highest quality of emergency care and that we develop new services to achieve this.

Dr Juliet Sutton – Clinical Lead – Early Years

Dr Sutton’s portfolio includes services such as maternity, paediatrics and community children’s health services.

Juliet studied at the Middlesex and UCH hospitals in London before joining the GP Training scheme at Hemel Hempstead. Juliet is a partner at Poplar Grove Practice in Aylesbury and has been a GP at the practice since 1993.

She specialises in care for the elderly, Nursing homes, Paediatrics and Womens’ Health.

Dr Stuart Logan – Clinical Lead Long Term Conditions (medicines management & end of life care)

Stuart grew up in Scotland and studied medicine at the University of Glasgow. He completed his GP training in Cambridge. He has worked with Trinity Health as a GP partner for 18 years.  Stuart has previously worked for many years both in Vale of Aylesbury and for United Commissioning as Medicine’s Management Lead.

In AVCCG he is the executive clinical lead with responsibility for medicines management, long term conditions and end of life. He aims to improve care for patients across the full spectrum of long term conditions and enable greater self-care and wellbeing for the population of AVCCG.

Dr Karen West – Clinical Lead – Joint Commissioning & Partnership Working

Karen is a GP partner at Haddenham Medical Centre.

An enthusiastic member of the team, she is committed to ensuring the NHS, especially General Practice, remains a service we can be proud of, centred around patient care. As a GP she believes we can, and will, be able to provide a better service to our patients, going forward.

Trevor Boyd – Senior Representative Buckinghamshire County Council

Trevor has worked in Local Government Social Services for 28 years having graduated with a BA (Hons) Social Work in 1984 from Lancaster University. He began his career working as a social worker for the County of Avon before moving to work for Milton Keynes after 2 years. In 1989 he moved in to his first management position for Hertfordshire County Council before leaving to move to Buckinghamshire County Council in 2002. He has worked across the full range of children and adult services during his career and has managed multi-disciplinary teams with the NHS. He has a particular passion for prevention and the integration of care around individuals.

Dr Malcolm Jones – South Clinical Locality Lead

Malcolm graduated from Cambridge University in 1996 and spent several years in hospital medicine, much of it specialising in paediatric medicine. Although he enjoyed working as a specialist, he appreciated the need for more holistic practise and decided to change tack by becoming a GP. He qualified as a GP in 2006, gaining merit in his MRCGP diploma and coming top in his cohort of fellow trainees on the Wycombe vocational training scheme. He became a partner at The Cross Keys Surgery in Princes Risborough in 2007. Malcolm welcomes the changes in the structure of the NHS and while he recognises there are marked financial challenges for healthcare in the UK, he also believes there is now a great opportunity to improve much of what the NHS provides. Outside of work, Malcolm’s great loves are his family, cycling and gardening. He lives near Princes Risborough.

Dr Charles Todd – Lead GP for the AVCCG Central Locality

He is a member of the Westongrove Partnership, based at Wendover Health Centre, and a GP trainer. He has been a Fellow of the Royal College of GPs since 2011. Previously he was an Associate Professor in the University of Zimbabwe Medical School and Health Adviser attached to the European Commission.

He is strongly committed to developing a health service that responds to the priority needs of the people and places emphasis on delivering interventions that improve the quality of life. He lives in Aylesbury.

Dr. Rodger Dickson – Lead GP for the AVCCG North Locality

Rodger has been a GP partner in Winslow for nearly 25years. He has a long history of involvement in working for NHS bodies from early GP fundholding to board membership of Aylesbury Vale PCG and then PCT. He is committed to furthering the collective work and values of the NHS in delivering the best healthcare outcomes for patients.

Louise Patten – Chief Officer

Louise trained as a District Nurse in Buckinghamshire and moved into management, initially as Assistant Director of Nursing. She worked as Director of Primary Care, then moved into Commissioning, becoming the Deputy Chief Executive of Watford & Three Rivers PCT. After a year’s sabbatical doing an MBA, she worked as Director of Service Design for a commercial healthcare organisation and then set up her own consultancy company, working for PCT Commissioners, including NHS Westminster, & for Bucks Urgent Care as Service Director. Louise also held a Trustee post for a registered charity.

Robert-Majilton – Chief Finance Officer

Robert has held many finance roles within the NHS including Chief Financial Officer at Buckinghamshire PCT, Interim Director of Finance (CHO) at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, Director of Finance – CHO (Interim) at Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust, Chief Financial Officer at Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust, Deputy Director of Finance at Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust, Deputy Director of Finance at Oxford City Primary Care Trust and Finance Manager at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre NHS Trust.

His new role is to provide financial leadership to emerging Clinical Commissioning Groups, support delivery of savings programmes and provide financial advice and training to members of the organisation.
